Description: - An Art Deco opal cabochon and diamond platinum brooch.  The art deco period brooch is set with a central oval opal cabochon weighing approximately 1.08 cts within a platinum rectangular surmount set throughout with 40 diamonds totalling approximately 1.38 cts. As was common for the period, the brooch is unhallmarked, and has been tested, and confirmed to be platinum.

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Date: - Circa 1925.

Measurement: - The brooch measure 1.9cm (height) x 4.0cm (length). 

Weight: - 8.1 grams / 0.26 troy ounces.

Condition: - The diamonds have good clarity. The opal has natural inclusions and good fire, displaying green, blue, and pink flashes. The pin and clasp work perfectly. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
